In 2019, an article was published on Behavior Science in the 21st Century called “The Seven Deadly Sins of Behavior Analysts.” Since then, a lot has happened in our field. We’ve grown in numbers, we’ve seen a paradigm shift in service delivery, and the next generation of behavior analysts is prioritizing client-led treatment more than ever.
This presentation will discuss the current state of these “sins,” or behaviors, as well as alternative behaviors we can use to succeed in our responsibilities to us as professionals, those we mentor, to our field and to those we serve.
