With over 12 years of experience in ABA therapy and a deep passion for working with children, Cassandra's journey in the field was sparked by a personal mission —helping her daughters navigate their developmental delays.
1. Can you share your journey in ABA therapy and what inspired you to pursue it?
Hi everyone! I’m Cassandra, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, with 12 years of experience in the field of ABA and over 15 years dedicated to working with children. My daughters' developmental delays are what inspired me to pursue a career in this field.
2. What's been the most rewarding aspect of your role as a BCBA or clinical owner?
I'm grateful for the families that have entrusted me to be part of their journey. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is watching children learn, grow, and develop meaningful relationships with their peers.
3. How has it been using Motivity?
My experience with Motivity has been a positive one.
4. Share one powerful ABA strategy or technique you find impactful for your clients.
The most powerful strategy has been building a positive relationship with our learners, so they feel safe, happy, and motivated during their sessions and learning naturally follows.
5. Outside of work, what's a hobby or interest you're passionate about and how do you balance it with your professional life?
Outside of my professional life, I cherish every moment spent with my husband and two daughters. I enjoy traveling, drinking a good cup of coffee, and the ongoing journey of personal growth. I maintain a balance between work and personal life by intentionally scheduling not only my work commitments on my calendar but also including fun activities that align with my values and are important to me.

At Dream Big Children's Center, one of our core values is being growth oriented. I truly appreciate collaborating with Emaley and Tatum, who actively seek feedback and are always working to enhance features on Motivity.
